After being crowned Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen 2009, I found myself overcome with joy and thanks to all who had believed in me and inspired me on my journey to take home the crown! The biggest thanks belong to Miss Jamie Ginn! My time with Jamie allowed me focus on areas such as wardrobe, platform, and interview skills to raise my level of confidence going into the pageant competition. After having the opportunity to work one on one with Jamie to develop a stellar platform that I was most passionate about, we spent several sessions working on my interviewing skills. These sessions helped me discover who I was, and how I wanted to expression my thoughts and beliefs that showed the judges that I was the next Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen! Jamie also helped me put the finishing touches to my wardrobe so that I was able to present myself to my best advantage proving to the judges I was state titleholder material. Week after week through my coaching sessions with Jamie, I found myself not only improving my skills, but also able to visualize myself as the next Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen. The dedication and support from Jamie was exactly what I needed. She was an unending source of motivation which inspired me to never lose sight of my goal to be Miss Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Teen 2009. Since my pageant days, I have moved New York City for the next chapter of my life where I am working towards my BFA in Musical Theater at Pace University. This spring I will begin rehearsals for a filmed documentary at my university on musical theater performance. Living the dream all bright eyed and in the city's lights! - Jill Wiley
I thought because I knew how to sing and dance I was ready to compete in a pageant. I had no idea how much I had to learn and how much I could improve before I met Jamie Ginn. Jamie raised the bar for me in every category: my song choice, music editing, costume and evening gown selection, and interview. We worked hard but she made it fun every step of the way! I simply would not have been named First Runner Up to Miss America's Outstanding Teen without Jamie.

I met Jamie two years ago and I wish I had met her sooner! She became my dance choreographer, pageant coach and friend. Jamie showed a real interest in me and always found time to teach me. She encouraged me that I can reach for a goal if I work hard and believe in myself. Jamie’s interview coaching has truly changed my life! At the age of 17, I am now comfortable talking to anyone of any age. I feel a sense confidence and happiness that was not there before.
